Up one level
In this section, you can downlaod the public deliverables issued by the IoT-i project.
The Internet of Things is a hot topic in R&D today. However, there is still a lack of understanding what the term means and what constitutes the Internet of Things (IoT). A commonly accepted Reference Model would alleviate this problem.
This document is a first step in the direction of getting to such a Reference Model.
The range and diversity of IoT applications is huge, permeating through practically all aspects of every day life. This report presents the results of the IOT-i’s initial efforts to systematically organise IoT scenarios designed, proposed and analyzed by several research projects (FP6 and FP7) and then to collect feedback from a variety of communities about the scenarios.
This initial report contributes to the overall objective of Task 2.2 to evaluate the social acceptance and regulatory impact of IOT applications.
In particular, this deliverable “documents the initial results on an interactive study concerning potential privacy invasion of IoT technology. It will outline a set of concerns, rationales and potential ways of overcoming the privacy fears. It will further provide a detailed plan of how an impact assessment of the initially identified application areas can be carried out”.
This deliverable proposes a basis for the legal and operational framework of the standalone IoT International Forum.
This document details the working groups (WGs) proposed for the initial implementation of the IoT International Forum.
The initial set of WGs attempts to cover the range of important topics which should be discussed within the Forum.
Gives the initial plan for Dissemination and Coordination. Was released M3 at an early stage of the project: See D4.3 for an updated plan.
Gives a fully updated plan for Year 2. Contains an exhaustive list of Dissemination & Coordination targets with a detailed list of corresponding actions and channels.
Gives a preliminary report of activities relating to Community Building, and gives plan for year 2 with an outline of the strategy for making this task sustainable beyond the IOT-I project lifetime.
This document is Chapter 2 of the IERC Book 2012
